Dear Parents, Family and Friends,

This week has been another busy one. Today 3A treated us to their class assembly sharing their knowledge about the different body systems, using song, dance, video and speech. They clearly enjoyed their learning and sharing that with parents and the school. Well done 3A! Apart from the assembly today, Year 1 went on a trip to the History Museum, Year 4 went on an ‘Explorers’ trip and Year 6 went to an ‘Agents of Change’ event held at Kowloon Junior School, along with 800 other Year 6 students.

Our Chinese Department are working hard preparing for our upcoming celebrations for Chinese New Year. If you are able to donate Chinese tea, chocolate coins or Lai-See packets for the China Day activities please kindly remind your child to bring your donations to Room 505 (Ms Lynn’s room). Here’s what’s coming up…

IMPORTANT DATES

Achievement Beyond School

Ronny Yeung (6D) and Andy Yeung (4W) participated in a football tournament – the ‘Christmas Cup’ with their team FC06 on 27th Dec 2016. The team lost the first match in the group stage, but won all the remaining games with improved performance. The team won the tournament finally by beating the opposition of the first match in the final game. Ronny was awarded the top scorer by scoring 7 goals in 5 matches including a hat trick in the semi-final and a double in the final. Andy also had an excellent performance as the goalkeeper of all 5 matches – especially as he was two years younger than others in the tournament. Well done to the brothers for their acheivement.

Have a lovely weekend,

ndnn
