Jun 23 – Yr6 Graduation

The Year 6 children enjoyed a fabulous day on Thursday with their Graduation Day. This began in the school hall with formal speeches and presentations of certificates. The recipients of the Robert Lydon Awards were also announced. we then moved to the MetroPark hotel where we enjoyed a lavish buffet lunch and the children had time to have fun and reminisce about their time at Beacon Hill. Thank you to all of the children and also to the Year 6 teachers and Mr Pheasant for their role in making this a very special day. We wish all the children the very best for the future.

We were treated to an emotional and stunning performance of ‘Once On This Island’ by the Year 6 children on Wednesday evening. The quality of the acting, singing and dancing was superb. All of this had been put together in three short weeks under the direction of the entire Year 6 staff with the support of Ms Annie Judge and many other staff members – a truly collaborative project.
