Fun Friends- Stay Happy
This is our last FUN FRIENDS session this week. We’ve reviewed what we’ve been learning about and played games to celebrate how brave they have become and all their efforts. We will keep practising the skills we’ve learnt in class and it would be helpful if you could at home too. Being brave, relaxing everyday, being healthy, changing red thoughts into green and making a step plan to help us when we try something new. Try to encourage rewards to be activities rather than things and that effort should always be rewarded!
Spelling: No more spelling for this year!
Reading
Please be reminded that there are no more home readers being sent home, so your children will need to read on Big Universe. Children login and select ‘My Library’ from the top of the page. At the right hand side in the ‘Filters’ section they can select the ‘Grade Level’ of books. If the children select kindergarten, grade 1 and 2 this is the most appropriate reading age for them (5-8 years).

Mandarin – All children are encouraged to take a reading book home on the days when they have Mandarin lessons.
