Year 3 Update Week 4

This Week In Year 3!

Wow! We’ve just had another action packed week in Year 3! We started the week with our INCAS computerised assessments (You will be notified by email when the results are available on the Gateway) The children impressed us with their determination, perseverance and wonderful attitude when completing their assessments.

The 6th floor was alive with the sound of Brazilan beats as Ms Victoria, our dance teacher was super impressed with the children’s dance skills. She was blown away by their amazing Samba dance and their ability to dance and hold hands with the opposite sex! Ask your child to demonstrate some of their moves!

As part of writing to retell, the children focussed on editing their work to ensure they used the past tense and punctuated their writing correctly. The children continued to work collaboratively and explored ways to play and learn with different people as well as the ability to listen respectfully to eachother.
