Learning Technology Monthly Update #10

Y6 Battlebots this week.

Students in Year 3 have been finishing off their design work by designing and building their own simple website using Google Sites. They included images, text, videos and links.

Students in Year 4 are completing the creation of Virtual Reality environments using http://cospaces.io . They have been using cospaces to create a virtual exhibition of their learning in their Unit of Inquiry.

In Year 5, students have just completed their coding and game design work by creating multiplayer games for a new game platform called Quadplay. We will be publishing some of the completed ones to a website at http://quadplay.live over the coming week.

Year 6 have completed their robot modifying project and have, this week, been battling their robots. The students did a fantastic job. They had to construct the robots, do all the wiring, work with electronics components, design their weapons, 3D print pieces, code their own controller and put it all together. A highlight video is at the top of this post.
