It was lovely seeing the Year 3 children sharing their reflections with you all. We could tell the children felt very proud of themselves. It was great to see such an interest from all the parents when taking part in the Maths, English and UOI stations.
On Monday Soriya from the Christina Noble Foundation came in to talk to the children about the work they do with neighbouring  countries, Vietnam and Mongolia. This foundation aims to create safe, stable and caring environments for children in need.

Mr. Malcolm Andrews spoke about how his family raised money to purchase bicycles to enable children in Vietnam to travel the long distance to school. Ask your child about our visitors.

I LOVE the colors and flow of this IB Transdisciplinary Theme Poster for Sharing the Planet!|:

This week the children inquired into the features of a narrative text and continued with their stories from last week. The children have used graphic organisers to help them plan before writing a narrative. Next week the children will begin to plan a narrative based on their flour baby.

The children will continue to work on their poems based on Children’s Rights that they will display during their sharing day.
